Titus, the great adventurer

March 2021 is officially in the books and Spring is here!  It looks like Titus is ready!  This was stamped with Stazon and watercolored.

Pan Pastels were used here and I added “Hot Air Balloons” to “Titus, the great adventurer” both from Blue Knight Rubber Stamps.  My mind is spinning with so many possible uses for this stamp.... stay tuned and see when Titus makes another appearance.  Until then, jump on over to Blueknightrubberstamps.com and check out the new release!  Old or new, you won’t be disappointed.

Pasture

Good morning afternoon or evening. This week I was tasked with creating cards using Blue Knight Rubber Stamps “Pasture”.  I chose to focus on highlighting different mediums to achieve a similar result. This is stamped on glossy CS and colored with dye inks.

The coloring and lighting are similar but this was watercolored.

Now it’s your turn. Hop over to Blueknighrrubberstamps.com and see what surprises you can find.

Have a great week. Thanks for looking.

Path to Barn

Hi crafty friends. This week I was asked to create two cards using Path and to Barn by Blueknight Rubber Stamps.  I have chosen to show the versatility of these stamps by depicting different seasons. Winter is stamped on matte CS and the subtle snow coloring is done with pan pastels and dye ink. Markers were used for fence posts, barn and grasses. Dr Ph Martin’s was splattered for the falling snow.

Again I stamped the image on matte CS.  The coloring was done with pan pastels. Markers were used for grass wisps and fence posts. The cloud stencil was also used

Thanks for stopping by and as always, see you next week.

Trees with Stream

Happy March!  Another step closer to spring where I live. This week I used BKRS Trees with Stream.  This was stamped on matte CS with memento black dye ink.
Coloring is with pan pastels and the cloud stencil was used. I also used a white gel pen for some water highlights and a pink paint pen for the tree blossoms
This darker scene was also colored with pan pastels.  I added “Evergreen” imagery to extend the tree line.
Thanks for looking.
