Beach Bird

Yay. beach weather is coming!!!!  Mr Bird was stamped on matte CS with black marvy dye ink and colored with pan pastels  I also used a micron pen to define the fence grain
This was stamped with Stazon  on watercolor paper and ....you guessed it....watercolored. There are some highlights with soft pastels and fence post definition with micron pens.

Bald Eagle

Good to see you again....
The detail in this Bald Eagle image is quite amazing. The 2 different sizes included offer so many options as a stand-alone image or incorporated in a scene. I’ve done 1 of each for you.
Here I’ve embossed the small Eagle and paired it with “Wild Grass”. The sentiment is from Bible Verses 1.  Cloud Stencil was also used. Pan Pastels were used for coloring.
The flag was created by streaking  Moonlight Duos (ink pads) with a sponge. White gel pen and white ink pen were used for hi-lights on the Eagle.
All images are from Blue Knight Rubber Stamps. Check them out at blueknightrubberstamps.com. There are lots of great stamps and several genres to choose from. This is from the new release.

‘Til next time, happy shopping and have fun getting inky!  Remember to show us your creations on the Blue Knight fan page.  Can’t wait to see you there!

Medical Rescue

I love this stamp! It’s a new release from Blue Knight  Rubber Stamps and so appropriate for this past year.  It was a privilege to create a card to honor those frontline heros.
Here I paired the small version with the forest from “Rainy Days”. (I inked all but the female figure). The coloring was done with pan pastels.

I kept this slimline card monochromatic. The medical symbol is popped up. The brick wall was created with a remnant of rubber trimmed from a stamp and “distressed” with sandpaper and snipped with very sharp scissors. I then used it as I would any other plain rubber stamp on an acrylic block.  The sentiment is from “Legendary”
Thank for taking a peek.

Remember to pop over to Blueknightrubberstamps.com to see the other new release stamps. They never disappoint!  Have a great week!
